On December 22 2013 the residents of Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area awoke to a frozen winter wonderland. The entire day and previous night frozen rain had refused to cease, leaving the entire region vulnerable to a thick layer of ice. Over 300,000 people were left without electricity and thousands of trees and power lines were left torn and broken to the ground. The photos to follow document the wreckage and beauty of the storm!
